Tenancy Coordinator (Build to Rent)

Residential Living Recruitment are supporting a leading Build to Rent Operator to recruit a Tenancy Coordinator to join their brand new residential development in Leeds.

The Tenancy Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the rental performance of the building liaising with residents regarding their tenancies. You will need to meet all legal and operational requirements and issuing tenancies to new residents.

You will be working on site dealing with all tenancy enquiries from applicants and residents. With more than 400 apartments (more to come!) and many exceptional amenities on-site there is massive potential and with the right leadership this will be a flagship property with a strong resident community at it’s core.

Job Title: Tenancy Coordinator (BTR)

Location: Leeds

Salary: up to £30,000 per annum + Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Process and respond to tenancy enquiries in a timely manner
• Liaise with the Legal team to implement tenancy updates
• Lead in serving, reporting and monitoring of statutory legal notices including but not limited to Section 21s, Section 8s and Section 13s
• Provide renewal and price increase notices to residents
• Contribute to achieving lettings targets
• Respond to email and phone enquiries in a timely manner
• Process resident applications and carry out background and credit checks
• Assist with move in / move out customer journey procedures
• Assist with rent collection

Who we are looking for

• Experience of working within property lettings, build to rent (BTR), purpose built student accommodation (PBSA), serviced apartments or private residential sector
• Awareness of the Renters Rights Bill and experience handling tenancy compliance
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent customer relationship skills and attention to detail
• ARLA qualification (Desirable)
• Knowledge of Yardi property management system (Desirable)
