Residential Living Recruitment are looking for a Night Concierge to join a brand-new luxury residential development. You will be experienced in working night shifts within a Residential Development or Hotel, have health and safety knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Job role
You will be expected to carry out instrumental site checks during your night shift, which will include checking our fire alarm panels remain error free, inspecting any areas when the alarm is activated, and taking the appropriate safety precautions to ensure all is well. During your site walks you will be visiting not only the site’s front of house and amenities, but also our various plant rooms across the 2 towers, which will also include checking our external areas.
Salary: £26,000- £30,000 per annum
Job type: Permanent
Shift pattern: 4 Nights on 4 Nights off
Shift hours: 7pm – 7am
Duties and responsibilities
- Customer Service: Ensures the security of the buildings is maintained at all times. Provide a warm and courteous welcome to all residents and visitors.
- Building Maintenance / Health & Safety: Carry out regular floor walks and security checks of the building and reporting and logging any details as required. Ensure a daily log is kept of any incidents, resident requests or shift handovers.
- Security: Able to manage the site as a lone worker. Report work related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence.
- Administration: Monitor emails and escalate to management when necessary. Maintain an organised and tidy work area including reception area, lobby and resident floor corridors.
Essential experience
- Have experience across the following areas: residential services, guest relations, security, use of CCTV cameras, general knowledge of sites residential maintenance needs, or experience assisting facilities to some degree.
- Experienced Night Concierge within Residential, Build to Rent, Student Accommodation or Hospitality
- Have excellent written and spoken English and the desire to develop your leasing experience if not previously exposed to leasing.
- Competent user of technology
- Good verbal and written communication
