Maintenance Technician (Residential BTR)

Residential Living Recruitment are recruiting a Maintenance Technician to work within luxury Residential Build to Rent (BTR) developments.

Our Clients are seeking experienced Maintenance Technician who has strong technical/maintenance experience to meet the needs of the residential building. You must be a team player and can work unsupervised with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum plus Bonus

Location: East London

Hours: 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday – 9am to 6pm

Operational Duties

· Ensure apartments are maintained toa high standard between tenancies, including paint and decorating and checking appliances

· Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.

· Respond to urgent and non-urgent maintenance issues in a timely manner

· Handling basic repairs and maintenance.

· Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.

· Assist in moving furniture in and out of apartment prior to resident arrivals

· Performing planned preventative maintenance.

· Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.

· Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary

Key Requirements

· Strong organizational and follow up skills.

· Eye for detail.

· Strong time management skills

· Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches

· Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogues as necessary.

· Proven maintenance experience.

· Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
