Title: Maintenance Team Leader
Salary: Up to £35,000 Per Annum + Bonus
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Job Role:
- Lead and support a team of 3 Maintenance Operatives, reporting directly to the Facilities Manager.
- Assist the Facilities Manager with rota planning, job allocation, and day-to-day oversight of maintenance requests.
- Conduct regular inspections of the building, premises, and equipment.
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across the development.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues as they arise.
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors when professional repairs are required.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, with a strong focus on resident satisfaction.
- Foster a positive, motivated, and target-driven team environment.
About you:
- Previous experience supervising or overseeing Maintenance Operatives.
- Strong ability to motivate a team and work collaboratively.
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Skilled in carrying out and delegating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
- Hands-on experience with a range of maintenance duties and high attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
