Lettings Consultant (BTR)

We are looking for a Lettings Consultant to work for an award-winning property management company specialising in Build to Rent.

As a Lettings Consultant you will focus on driving lettings performance, this role ensures a seamless resident journey, from initial inquiry to move-in, while upholding high standards of property management, compliance, and customer service. The Lettings Consultant will work closely with the Community Manager and the Head Office team for additional support.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of lettings operations at a new BTR development, contributing to its success while providing an outstanding resident experience.

Salary: up to £28,000 per annum + Bonus

Location: Site Based, Leeds City Centre

Work Pattern: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days with frequent Saturday working required due to lease up of new building.

Duties and responsibilities

• Conduct viewings, respond to inquiries, and guide prospective tenants through the reservation process.
• Prepare accurate tenancy documentation and oversee tenancy progression in line with Deposit Protection and Housing Act legislation.
• Coordinate referencing processes and ensure timely communication with prospective tenants.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing queries or concerns efficiently and with excellent customer service.
• Coordinate the preparation of vacant units, ensuring they are market-ready promptly to minimize void periods.
• Liaise with contractors to complete any required works swiftly and to a high standard.

Experience & Knowledge

• Experience in lettings and property management, preferably in the BTR or private rental sector.
• Strong understanding of property legislation and tenancy compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proactive and independent, with the ability to manage a busy workload effectively.
• Experience with Yardi is beneficial but not essential.
