Residential Living Recruitment are looking for a number of Lettings Associates to work for our clients who are luxury Residential Build to Rent Operators in Birmingham.
Build-to-Rent (BTR) refers to residential properties that are specifically developed with the intention of being rented out, rather than sold to individual buyers. This real estate model is becoming increasingly popular, especially in urban areas where there is high demand for quality rental housing.

Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum OTE
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Days: Working 5 days out of 7 across Monday – Sunday
Duties and responsibilities
- Confidently lead the sales process from start to finish
- Contact and qualify new customer enquiries, register their rental requirements, match their requirements to the appropriate apartment, book viewing tours and close the sale.
- Provide administrative support within the Lettings team
- Negotiate appropriately and close potential customers to live within the Apartments
- Process rental applications and conduct background checks on applicants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Collect and process rental payments from tenants
- Ensure documentation and initial payments are accurate and compliant;
- Build strong and enduring relationships, both internally and externally;
Experience
- Experienced working within Property, Lettings, Sales, BTR (Build to Rent) or PBSA (Student Accommodation).
- Proven experience in sales and leasing, preferably in real estate
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
