An opportunity to come in and help define and implement a Sales strategy, build a centralised team as the portfolio grows, and help drive best practices throughout the entire business is both extremely rare and exciting!
What will you bring?
Ideally, you will demonstrate the following:
Data-Driven—You will want to spot opportunities to improve sales performance while backing up suggestions with data. You will need to be comfortable analysing sales performance, identifying areas where things can be enhanced, and using a data-driven approach when conducting competitor analyses, assisting with rent setting, etc.
Strong communicator – With so much going on and many internal and external stakeholders, you must be precise with your communication and confident in asking for and obtaining all the relevant information you need!
Solution-focused – Constantly looking to improve sales processes through process change or innovation. If something isn’t working, don’t be afraid to make the changes that will ultimately benefit the business, residents, and your team members.
Team-oriented You will be part of a tight-knit team of professionals, which will require supporting numerous departments on projects involving current and future assets.
Revenue enhancement—You will want to spot opportunities to drive additional revenue and constantly work on new partnerships to help raise brand awareness and enhance commercial performance.
Leadership – You will need a passion for coaching and developing people. This role will include hiring and growing a sales team in line with portfolio growth.
Customer experience — Constantly review how students interact with the brand, whether they book a room or what factors impact retention. You will be the sort of individual who constantly thinks about improving the customer experience.
