      An exciting opportunity to work for an operator within the Build to Rent (BTR) sector. Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Maintenance Operative based in the South East London area to ensure all raised maintenance issues by residents are responded to and closed out in a timely manner, this also extends to any issues raised by the management team. A driving license.

      Job Title: Maintenance Operative

      Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

      Location: South East London – Willing to travel across multiple sites

      Work Pattern: Monday to Friday (Weekend availability if required)

      Essential: Must be a car/van driver – Company car if needed

      Role:

      • Provide essential maintenance support for residential blocks.
      • Prior experience in residential maintenance is essential.
      • Your mission: Ensure timely, high-quality repairs and maintenance.
      • The majority of work will be based in Zone 2-3 South & East London. But there would be a requirement at times to travel to other areas in Greater London when needed.

      Responsibilities:

      • Complete interior and exterior maintenance tasks.
      • Adhere to building standards, safety, and compliance.
      • Support building services maintenance.
      • Maintain common areas and grounds.
      • Inspect properties regularly and report issues promptly.
      • Address vacant unit work.
      • Report deficiencies and safety hazards immediately.

      Required Skills:

      • Basic electrical and plumbing skills.
      • Painting and decorating.
      • Cleaning of communal areas.
      • Snagging for vacant units.
      • Exterior maintenance, including guttering and fencing.
      • General maintenance and repair knowledge.
      • Basic gardening skills, including grass cutting and site clearance.
