Join a market leading Build to Rent organisation as Maintenance Manager to manage all maintenance requirements for a brand-new premium development in Birmingham.
Role : Maintenance Manager (Build to Rent)
Location : Birmingham
Salary : £35,000 + Bonus
Role Overview :
- Manage and undertake all maintenance requirements for a premium BTR development
- Oversee the completion of resident service requests within community timelines and guides.
- Carry out and record the results / outcome of weekly, monthly, and other cyclical checks, testing and maintenance routines
- Oversee and organize apartment inspections and apartment Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) ensuring good records are kept at all times
- Work closely with the General Manager, to recruit, train, develop and mentor each member of the small, high performance, highly driven team.
- Manage building compliance requirements related to Health and Safety
- Supervise third party contractors working on site

Previous experience required:
- Previous maintenance experience in residential property (hospitality or private rental sector preferred)
- 3 years’ experience in a maintenance / facilities management position
- Knowledge of Health & Safety compliance, PPM plans, and an understanding of overall Risk Management strategies
- Experience in a demanding customer centric role
