Seeking an experienced Property Management professional to lead a central team responsible for a National Single Family Housing (Build to Rent) portfolio. Take on this opportunity to work for an award winning and industry leading BTR Operator as they move into a period of growth around the UK.
This management role will involve guiding Property Managers, ensuring that individual and portfolio performance, compliance requirements, and operational processes and standards are consistently met and exceeded. The ideal candidate will have Property Management background with a proven track record of driving team performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing operational improvements.
Role : Operations Manager (Single Family Housing)
Location : Leeds
Salary : £45,000 + Bonus
Key role responsibilities –
- To manage a team of Property Managers/site staff.
- To provide management services that comply with all statutory regulation and requirements
- Understand client requirements and liaise directly with clients and internal asset managers, implementing their strategy to optimise portfolio performance
- To ensure regular engagement with clients, including face to face meetings, providing clear agendas and outputs
- To work closely with lettings, collections & finance teams in delivering continuity of occupancy, income and accurate reporting and analysis
- To effectively manage the performance of the wider Property Management team, setting clear, challenging but achievable goals to ensure the success of the team
- To lead and manage projects as requested by the management team
- To provide business reports and management papers to the Senior Leadership on both a regular and ad-hoc basis
- To undertake regular service delivery reviews with the Head of Operations, implementing actions and improvements where necessary
- Manage, in accordance with all statutory provision and best practise, the organising and supervising of inspections, repairs, maintenance, cyclical and improvement works
Who we are searching for?
- An individual with at least 3-5 years of experience in property management or a related field. Experience leading a team is desirable.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record in managing portfolios of tenanted properties and driving operational performance.
- Strong understanding of leasing processes, property management, and relevant legislation.
